The Bro Code by Barney Stinson

On How I Met Your Mother, Barney Stinson (played by Neil Patrick Harris) is a commitment-phobe and just likes to play around with women. When he hooked up with Robin, Ted's (Barney's best friend) ex-girlfriend, he felt that he broke The Bro Code. According to him, this book which was written by his ancestor named Barnabas Stinson, clearly stated that, "Thou shalt not sleep with your Bro's ex-girlfriend."
The Bro Code contains more funny and witty lines like that and is definitely worth reading during one of those boring days. It is awesome and legendary.

The Catcher In The Rye by J.D. Salinger

The Catcher In The Rye is a novel which was published in 1951, and was written by J.D. Salinger. It is about the life of a teenager named Holden Caulfield, who is the epitome of cynicism and angst. He dreams to be a deaf mute, and thinks that everybody around him are phonies. It is a very entertaining book.

Einstein's Dreams by Alan Lightman

Einstein's Dreams is a novel by Alan Lightman. It was first published in 1993. I have read this book at least 10 times already because I like it so much. It tells of how Albert Einstein came up with the Theory of Relativity. There are no technical and never-heard-of scientific terms used in the story. Everything is told in a simple way. There is no need for you to be a Physics major or a Rocket Scientist to be able to relate to it. Alan Lightman used the simple fictional approach to discuss the multiple time frame scenarios that were products of Einstein's brilliant mind.
