The Dead Poets Society by N.H. Kleinbaum

The Dead Poets Society is a moving and enlightening story about a group of teenage boys in a private school called Welton Academy. A movie adaptation of this novel starred a very young Ethan Hawke and Robert Sean Leonard (who is now regularly seen on House as Dr. James Wilson, an oncologist). Award-winning actor Robin Williams did a great job in playing the role of English professor John Keating. Mr. Keating opened the boys' minds to the beauty of literature, reading and discussing the works of Byron, Keats, Shelley and Thoreau to them. This newfound freedom resulted to different things, great and tragic.
